Student Population

Monroe Middle School teaches students who are in grades 5-8.  Our current population of approximately 914 students represents the diversity of today's society, a variety of ethnicities are represented:

Asian    6.9%
Pacific Islander  1.4%
Filipino 3.4%
Hispanic/Latino 53.4%
African American 6.3%
White (non-Hispanic) 25.3%

 

We have over 200 students (23.7% of our population) who come from families with English as a second language:

We work to support our families that qualify for free & reduced price meals, 35.9% of our student population.
