New students/parents: We’re excited that you are joining our family!  In order for us all to get to know each other a little bit better, we’d like to invite you to attend the new student orientation on Tuesday, August 17.

◦ New 5^th/6^th students: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. 

◦ New 5^th/6^th parents: 8:30 am – 9:30 am in the cafeteria.

◦ New 7^th/8^th student/parents: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm in the cafeteria. 

Returning students/parents: There is no meeting you need to attend; you only need to come at your appointed time to turn in your completed registration packets and get your schedules.

o 6^th grade: 11:00 am

o 7th/8^th grades: 1:00 pm

Each orientation group will have the opportunity to pick up class schedules providing you have turned in the completed registration packet.  In addition, we will have information/sign-up booths for the PTA and Friends of Monroe Music (FoMM) and an opportunity to sign up for eScrip, which is a wonderful and easy way to support Monroe students.

You’ll also have a chance to buy yearbooks, Maverick sweatshirts, PE clothes (required for 7^th and 8^th), and uniform shirts.
