8th Grade Promotion Party Reminders!

Our 8th graders have received invitations to the Promotion Party.

Here are some important reminders:

  • Permission slips are due on Friday, May 19th.  In order to attend this free event, students must turn in a signed permission slip
  • Please email baby pictures and Kinder-8th grade photos to sandbmom0 [at] with “Promotion 2017” in the subject line by May 19th
  • We need parent volunteers to help with set up, food prep, cleanup and other areas. Signups are online @
  • There are several areas on the planning committee where we still need help. If you are interested, please contact mikoohno [at] or join the next planning meeting on Thursday, June 1st @ 6 p.m. Please feel free to email if you have any questions.

 Other Reminders

  • In order to attend the party, students must complete their Exhibition project, and have no F grades as of June 7th
  • The dress code will be in effect, which includes: no spaghetti straps, strapless, backless tops or dresses, shorts and skirts must be longer than fingertips, no bare midriffs, low cut shirts, sweats, or sports shorts
  • Please consider making a small donation of cash or gift cards (Smart and Final, Costco, etc.) to help offset the expenses of hosting this celebration for our students!  Please deliver these to the Monroe office, mark the envelope “PTA Promotion Party Donation”.
