In collaboration with the Santa Clara County Office of Education, Monroe Middle School runs a student wellness center five days a week from the hours of 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
What is the Wellness Center?
A calming and quiet space if you are looking to self-regulate using specific tools in designated areas.
A safe place to decompress and an opportunity to talk with a safe adult on campus.
A student resource center if you wish to receive information and connection to specific wellness-related supports.
Who are the staff at the Wellness Center?
Ms. Ethel is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). She is our Wellness Specialist that can provide both individual and group therapy.
Ms. Daisy is the Wellness Liaison and supports the management of the center. She is the first point of contact for students that visit the center. She triages the support students need accordingly and provides support for students needing regulation or coping strategies.
