This is an introductory class stressing basic language skills and acquisition within a cultural context, including an introduction to the grammar and practical vocabulary necessary for fundamental communication skills. Emphasis will be on the acquisition of four skills: listening, speaking, reading and limited writing. Projects, games, music, videos, and technology tools are incorporated in the curriculum in order to lessons more interactive.
**This is a year long elective course for students who have little or no previous knowledge of Spanish. Heritage speakers of Spanish should NOT sign up for this class.
