Promotion Ceremony

Promotion Ceremony: June 6th

On Thursday, starting at 8:30 AM 8th graders and their families can come onto campus through the middle back gates.  The ceremony will begin at 9 AM sharp.  Guest seating is first come first serve and we ask that you do not save seats for guests and arrive with your whole party.  Students will report to the 6th blacktop area.  After the ceremony, your student will go home with their family.  8th-grade students do not attend classes on Friday.

For the ceremony, student attire must follow our school dress code.  Students do wear dressier clothes for the ceremony.  Students should wear comfortable shoes or shoes that they have worn before to ensure they are able to walk across the stage safely.  

The following items are also NOT allowed:

  • Noisemakers/Horns

  • Shaving cream/whipped cream

  • Any other items that could distract from the ceremony

  • Any items that block the view of others during the ceremony (for example large signs or balloon arrangements)

If you have flowers, balloons, or other large gifts for your 8th-grade student please need to keep them until after the ceremony.  Leis or other decorative neck gifts are allowed.
