District News
The Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) is offering a wonderful opportunity to all Campbell Union School District (CUSD) students: free library accounts! All students enrolled in CUSD schools are eligible.
The accounts enable access to the library’s rich learning resources, including books, eBooks, reference collections for research, computers, music, databases and more. The accounts also can be merged with existing library cards, if you already have one for your child.
NOTE: In order to automatically generate the library accounts, the District needs to provide certain student information to the County's Library District. For details, or to opt out of this opportunity, please see the Library Account Parent Notice or ask the school office staff for a copy.

With news about changes in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), we want to remind our families that Campbell Union School District is committed to welcoming and supporting all students and their families, regardless of their immigration status.
Last spring, our Governing Board adopted a Resolution Reaffirming Support of Immigrant Students and Families, which reaffirms that support and provides guidance about how to provide it within legal parameters. The full text of the resolution is available online at campbellusd.org/policy, or in print from the District Administration, 408-341-7254 or ask_us [at] campbellusd.org.

With the Governing Board’s approval of the TK-8 implementation plan this summer, staff is continuing the work of creating a new educational option for Campbell Union School District families. Among those tasks: what to name it.
The District is asking employees, parents, and other members of the community to take a 3-question survey to help choose the name of the school, which will open next August (2018) to grades TK-4th and will add upper grades in subsequent years. CUSD Students in grades 3-7 will also have the chance to participate at school through an internal, secure version of the survey.
