One of the District Governing Board’s main functions is setting Board policies (BP) that guide our administrative regulations (AR). The Board reviews policies regularly and updates them as needed. We disseminate the updated information in a variety of ways, including in parent handbooks and in the Policy Highlights bulletin that is being sent home with students. Copies of all policies and regulations are available from the District office or online at campbellusd.org/policy.

Hello 8th grade parents,

As you know, every year 8th grade students can take a trip of a lifetime with their friends and travel to the East Coast. While on this trip, students will step back into time and visit some places where history was made. The trip starts in Washington, D.C. and ends in New York City. This trip takes place during Spring Break, April 1st - April 9th. Three spots have recently become available. If you are interested in having your child participate in this awesome experience, please contact the East Coast Trip Coordinator, Miz_Fran,  ASAP @ mms_ect [at] yahoo.com.

*As a reminder, this is not a school-sponsored trip.

Walking is a fun and healthy way to spend time with your child.

In Campbell Union School District, we encourage parents and students to walk or bike to school every Wednesday. For those who live too far, try parking farther away from the school and walking the last block or two.

Since children learn by doing, YOU are your child’s most important role model for learning to walk safely. As you walk, please:

  • Obey all traffic signs and signals.
  • Look LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT for moving cars, and cross when clear.
  • Time yourself. Practice this weekend to find out how much time to allow.
  • Check the weather and dress appropriately (boots, rain coat, umbrella, etc.).

As you walk, you can talk with your child about what you’re doing and explain why.
