First Week of School

What an amazing first week we’ve had at MMS!

  As we kicked off our year last Thursday, we welcomed over 1,000 students and were thrilled to see so many smiles and hear the excitement.   We are grateful to our “Students Helping Students”, along with Manny the Maverick, who greeted everyone and made sure their classmates were directed to the correct classrooms. Teachers have spent the week taking students on tours and teaching PBIS expectations (Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible) as well as administrators and counselors introducing themselves and sharing their expectations to the entire student body.   We are excited to continue our work with our students and families and making this a wonderful year for all.
