Monroe: Keeping Students and Staff Safe

Safety is our top priority at Monroe. An important part of keeping students and staff safe is conducting drills for a variety of situations, including intruders on campus.

On Wed., December 5th, at 9:00am, we have the opportunity to work directly with the San Jose Police Department on a lock down barricade  drill. Officers and patrol cars will be on campus, making this drill far more noticeable than those we’ve done in the past.

We don’t want to you be unnecessarily alarmed. We do hope you’ll take the opportunity listen to your child’s questions, ask what he/she learned in the process, and discuss your own family’s plans in case of an emergency.
