Monroe Middle School

Principal's Message- December 20, 2018

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Thank you, Parents/Guardians for your continued support this 2018-19 school year! The learning community here at Monroe continues to work together to develop learning experiences in and outside of the classroom to communicate our school theme this school year " Everybody Matters Every Day Counts."

We look forward to our commitment to student success in the new year. Also, it is with great appreciation that we celebrate and reflect on the daily efforts of our teachers and staff who continue to work to develop meaningful student learning experiences here at Monroe.  In preparation, for the new year our teachers have continued to collaborate through our professional learning communities and continued professional development in AVID/ AVID Excel program that directly support their continued focus on building engaging student learning experiences.

In the new year we look forward to continuing to offer parents and families resources at the school that provide information about parent empowerment/ involvement, commitment to child safety/awareness and academic learning  opportunities available in partnership with our local community.

Thank you, PTA for your commitment to our students, teachers and staff for coordinating our fundraisers this school year. As a reminder parents please join PTA in our efforts to support our Monroe learning community.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday winter break everyone and we look forward to a great 2019 start of the new year.
